Based in Melbourne, iSoft Design offers a number of IT services to small and medium businesses across all types of industries and regions. Services include software application development, website development, data analysis services and website hosting and management.

Bruce has been involved with programming since 1982, when he started to design paddock record-keeping systems to help him with his job as a farm consultant. In 1985 he began to use Clipper, and gradually the programming side of his business outgrew the farm consulting. Since shifting to Melbourne in 1987, Bruce has been involved full-time as a consultant programmer, working in a wide variety of industries including optical laboratories, wholesale music, optometry, wholesale giftware, soft-drink distribution, colour film processing and the motor trade. Bruce believes his wide experience with the SME sector is important in achieving a useful result for the client, particularly where client expectations are not fully worked through prior to starting on the project. He is passionate about achieving a successful marriage between the existing physical systems at a customer's site, and the computer program to be used alongside them.

Kate is our Web Developer. She joined the firm after completing her Honours year of a Batchelor of Arts (Multimedia) degree at Victoria University in 2006. Her interest in website development and internet technologies as well as other fields of media such as video production and photography give Kate a wide range of skills to bring to our company. Kate has had an enthusiastic involvement in many projects through her studies including the production of a documentary, 'Hidden Lives', that tells the stories of former inmates of the Kaloola psychiatric facility, and developing a website that explores the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit. As a freelance consultant prior to joining iSoft Design she developed several commercial websites and now looks forward to her new challenges with the firm.

Ron has been working as an independent software developer and consultant for over twenty years. His skills and experience have been honed by developing business applications and solutions for a wide variety of clients. Over the last ten years he and Bruce have co-operated on many joint projects. Having identified the burgeoning potential of doing business online more than ten years ago, he has successfully leveraged his experience and skills into the world of eCommerce. Ron specializes in building complex web applications tailored to the specific needs of his clients, and his talents are used by iSoft Design as needed.
